Checking out Dawnfolk on Nintendo Switch 2

Dawnfolk is available now on the Nintendo Switch. It’s a dark, town building experience, but unlike traditional city-sims like Cities: Skylines this is notably different.

This folksy take on the genre was initially on my radar back when it released on Steam earlier this year, but now it’s on the eShop — meaning I can play it on my handheld of choice. I took the new Switch version of the game for a spin to give a taste of what to expect. Here’s those first opening 15 minutes:

Pretty neat right? I love how it basically has a fog-of-war mechanic to expand the map and build out your little town.
