Roguelite Sci-Fi Shooter Moros Protocol Hits Switch 2 Tomorrow

Moros Protocol, the sci-fi roguelite FPS from Pixel Reign, launches on Nintendo Switch 2 tomorrow.

The game first released on PC last year, and blends a retro-styled shooter with a roguelite progression structure.

Set on a derelict warship, heaving with baddies, and you have to fight your way through things, upgrading as you go. It has a pretty neat low-poly ‘crunchy’ pixel-texture art style.

I went hands-on with the game ahead of its launch, and you can see the opening minutes in my video below:

Moros Protocol is available October 1st, 2026 for $24.99 on the Nintendo eShop. It’s on Switch 2, PS5 and PC.
