A demo for the remake of Yooke-Laylee has just been added to the Nintendo eShop, and any progress made in this new demo will carry over to the full game.
This ‘Replaylee’ remake of the 2017 original landed in October, bringing us the “ultimate, rebuilt and enhanced version of the 3D indie platforming collectathon darling“.
The 2017 original was seen as something of a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, with key former Rare staffers working on the game. This 2025 remake introduced many quality of life improvements and was much welcomed.
In addition to the demo now being available, PM Studios and Platonic also reiterated that the physical version of Yooka-Replaylee is arriving later this month on December 18th for Switch 2 (and PS5 and Xbox).
