Hi, issue #17 of
Switch Weekly
here with your roundup of great Nintendo links.
What a week!
It turns out someone in the supply chain stole some Switch consoles prior to launch and sold them on — that’s how we got an early look at the system OS and UI.
Also, pictures showing a teardown of the system have surfaced, revealing what’s inside the Switch.
Links with more below.
Oh and I finally got some hands-on time with the Switch.
I attended a
Nintendo event in Manchester
(here in the UK)
and tried Splatoon 2, Zelda, 1-2 Switch, Mario Kart and Arms. It turns out I need a little more practice with Arms as I got destoryed. Splatoon 2 was a ton of fun, looking forward to that one.
Initial hardware impressions: Generally the Joy-Con’s feel great when attached to the screen and seperated in each hand, but the controller did feel a little small when together in the Joy-Con grip.
Less than two weeks until launch! Enjoy the issue,
Chris Brandrick
PS – I have
an Instagram now
, if that’s your thing.
