Hi, here’s issue #126 of Switch Weekly , with the week in Nintendo news. Ok, so I got the VR Kit on Friday , but I haven’t yet had chance to open it up and get building. This is the the first Labo kit I’ve bought, so I’m looking forward to giving it all a go (less so then having to find a home for all the cardboard creations). The reason I’ve not had a chance to build any of the Toy-Con’s just yet? Well, I’ve got something coming up in a few weeks that’s a tad more important to be preparing for at the moment! 😊 Another Tetris 99 competition took place this weekend. Nintendo’s answer to VR is obtuse in the most Nintendo of ways — Laura comments that the lack of a head-strap is due to Nintendo wanting “its answer to VR to be something social, lacking in isolation, that’s easy to share and requires minimal setup” and concludes by adding that although “ultimately a bit cumbersome to hold [..] it’s a pretty cheap and easy way to experiment with VR” .
