This Game Freak RPG was on my list as one to watch this year, but I’m now not in any particular rush to bump it up my play pile. It seems the latter half of the game in particular can be quite frustrating? Here’s a positive review from Nintendo World Report , and a less than glowing take from US Gamer — this review from Game Crash is more middling .

REVIEW The Witcher 3 — ” How much are you willing to compromise? ” — The fact this is is even on a handheld device has impressed many, and as the author notes, “if you blind yourself to the visual compromise” the game “still has a gigantic heart at its core and an adventure that you can lose hundreds of joyous hours to” . RGT 85 over on YouTube calls it the best handheld Switch game to date .

If you can deal with that, along with your progress not carrying over, then this seems like a decent trade for a portable version.
