#172: Your Nintendo Update
Your Nintendo digest for the week ending March 15.
|
What do you think.
Hey , issue #172 of Switch Weekly here, with your Nintendo update for the past seven days — including the results from the 2020 State of Switch survey . As promised the State of Switch survey results are now live – and as a subscriber you’re hearing about it first, right here. The final survey saw more than 10,000 responses, and shed some light around what folks think of the Switch Lite, just how many people have had to deal with drift, and what games folks want to see next. I’d probably advise putting a pot of coffee on for this one, as it’s a meaty post with plenty of detail to dive into (and I’m still tweaking away at it). Please do hit reply and let me know what you think — I read every email. Of course, the big news this week was the cancellation of this year’s E3 — it makes total sense to call off this year’s event due to the current global situation. Beyond the very real health concerns, such news got many folks in our sphere wondering what this means for gaming companies and how they will approach the usual summer announcement run — here’s VGC with what Nintendo has said so far . Anyway, there’s just over 20 games hitting the eShop next week, including ittle Dew 2+, Doom 64, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons ( which I’ve got ready pre-loaded on my Switch ). It’s nearly Nook time! Thanks for reading.
Cheers,

Ollie Reynolds // Nintendo Life REVIEW Bloodroots — This fast paced action game is said to lack a bit of originality, but makes up for it in ” vast weapon variety and satisfying yet challenging gameplay that keeps you coming back for more “.
