▶ Nintendo Direct – September 2023 — Here’s that Direct if you ain’t had chance to catch it yet. 40 minutes of the latest announcements and reveals, including of course the Paper Mario Thousand Year Door remake reveal. Here’s a quick text-based run-down if you’d prefer. Nintendo of America // YouTube The Nintendo Museum will be finished by March — We got an update on this Kyoto-based museum in the Direct. I’ve added it to the list for my next trip to Japan. Richard Lawler // The Verge Nintendo wants to be much more than a video game company Gene Park // The Washington Post Princess Peach: Showtime isn’t a platformer, and that’s a good thing Jade King // The Gamer REVIEW Super Bomberman R 2 — ” both runs and looks like a mixed bag “, ” It feels like Konami don’t know what to do with Bomberman anymore “. Daniel Vuckovic // Vooks REVIEW Gunbrella — ” The atmosphere and movement abilities of Gunbrella are excellent, but the lack of enemies and opportunities to use the titular weapon are a bit disappointing .” Jordan Rudek // Nintendo World Report REVIEW Bomb Rush Cyberfunk — ” the kind of game I’ve been waiting to play for two decades ” Cullen Black // Nintendo Insider REVIEW Full Void – A tight tribute that falls just short of cinematic greatness Roland Ingram // Nintendo Life The Nitro Deck gives the Nintendo Switch a new look — I tried this new wrap-around controller at Gamescom last month, and kinda dig what it’s offering up — basically a bigger Switch. Chris Brandrick // overkill
