Switching the Weekly

After nine years, pretty much to the day, Switch Weekly is no more. The newsletter now has a new name, and that name is Hanafuda Report.

As I mention in the video below, it’s a name that is a nice nod to Nintendo’s origins as a card manufacturer, and it’s a name that I feel will endure beyond any one console cycle or generation. Let me explain:

So, whether you’ve been a reader since the beginning, or only subscribed to Switch Weekly recently — I just wanted to say thank you. I’m excited to continue bringing you the best in Nintendo every single week, and I hope you’ll join me.
