Switch 2 gets price hike, Tezuka retires, and a new Fox…

▶ Star Fox Direct — The whiplash we all collectively felt from seeing this announced, to it being live minutes later, to it being a Star Fox 64 remake was….something. Nintendo // YouTube Nintendo "sincerely apologize" for global Switch 2 price rise as console nears 20 million units sold — The latest financial results revealed that the Switch 2 is essentially at 20 million units sold, but a Switch 2 price rise is coming (in September for most of us), and as such Nintendo has slashed their forecast for year two. The company clearly stockpiled for the launch, and there was likely a hope they could weather the storm. This puts things in a tricky spot.
