All aboard the Zelda TotK hype train

Hello , Chris here with your latest Nintendo update — it’s issue #328 of Switch Weekly. Hope you’re well.

Being a Nintendo fan at times like these is such fun. Last week we were all talking about the Mario movie ( which continues to do great at the box office ), and this week we’re all excited about the next big Zelda game that’s now just weeks away. The fact this company has such a great legacy of much loved characters and content to draw from means they can go from one property to the next from week to week and keep fans engaged whilst keeping things feeling fresh ( be that with a seasoned series or a more modern franchise ).

Right, quick update on the survey as a few folks have asked where the results are: I had planned on having the write-up with you today, but alas, it will have to wait another week. Planning a trip away right after the survey ended, along with some life stuff, has delayed things a little this year. Consider this me planting a flag in the ground and saying the results will be with you next week.

Over the next week we’ve got around ~25 games coming to the eShop, including Advance Wars: Re-Boot Camp 1+2. Full list is down below for you as ever.

▶ The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Official Trailer #3 — Ok, unless you’re going dark on this one, I’m gonna assume most of y’all have already seen this — especially considering it’s already racked up an insane seven million views in three days ( a good chunk of those are me 😅). This was the trailer we were waiting for — it really ramped up my excitement. How much? Well, this time last week I didn’t have a preorder. 😉 Also, boy did the saxophone go hard in this. Can’t wait.
