Every Switch and Switch 2 Game Announced During Summer Game Fest

Summer Game Fest, now in its seventh year, has just wrapped up. The hour long showcase highlighted a bunch of upcoming releases, big and small. Here’s a look at all of the games mentioned in the show that I clocked as coming to either the Nintendo Switch or the Switch 2 — let’s get to it.

The show kicked off with a lengthy trailer for Resident Evil Veronica. It’s coming to Switch 2 in 2027. Capcom are on a roll lately.

Next up we got a double tease from Studio MDHR — first that a new hand-animated Cuphead game is on the way, and secondly that a new 8-bit style fast action platformer dubbed Mighty Cuphead Adventure is also on the way. Mighty Cuphead Adventure was listed as coming to ‘modern consoles’.

Creative Assembly took to the stage to debut survival horror sequel Alien Isolation 2, confirmed for Switch 2.

An additional story mission for the superb 007 First Light was shown. The full game is launching on the Switch 2 later this summer.

A new Hot Wheels racing game was shown, and honestly, I thought it looked excellent — it’s called Hot Wheels Infinite Rush.

A Sonic sizzle reel shared what new crossovers are coming to Sonic Racing Crossworlds, including Evangelion of all things! Sonic Pico Park was also announced.

Koei Tecmo shared a look at Attack on Titan 3.

Wiz Khalifa is coming to Hitman World of Assassination as an elusive target over the course of the next month. The game is available now on Switch 2.

It’s been a long time coming, Telltale Games revealed that The Wolf Among Us 2 is coming next year, but also teased a remaster of the first game is coming this year. No platforms were mentioned, but this one feels like a safe bet for Switch 2.

Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is adding new characters, including Tifa from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII.

We also got a couple of brief Nintendo Switch 2 montage moments featuring a look at the imminent The Adventures of Elliot: The Millenium Tales, the superb looking Orbitals (one of my 2026 games to watch), co-op sci-fi adventure Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, along with Final Fantasy XIV Online, dino action game Turok: Origins, and Armatus,

The show ended with a detailed look at the third, concluding FFVII chapter, dubbed Final Fantasy VII Revelation — the game will be launching simultaneously on all platforms in Spring next year, Switch 2 included.
